About the Centennial High School Chapter of the National Honor Society
The Centennial High School Chapter of the National Honor Society was chartered in 2012 by Mrs. Nancy Hollingsworth when Centennial High School was first established. Members are students in 10th, 11th, and 12th grade selected for their SCHOLARSHIP, LEADERSHIP, SERVICE, and CHARACTER . Members must maintain a 3.5 GPA or higher, continuously exhibit good character and leadership in the context of Centennial High School, as well as complete at least 10 hours of community service work for a nonprofit organization or program each semester. We welcome students who are committed to academic progress and success while they learn to be citizen-leaders and examples for the larger community of Las Cruces, New Mexico.
